You have to pay 5 bucks when pre-ordering...but my scenario is different. I'm trading 9 games. And they have a deal, trade 3 get 1 free...

FF7 I had a Sega Saturn...was mildly happy with it due to awesome 2D fighters and other cool sega stuff. But people in school were all saying how PS1 is so much better. So I sold everything I had (Saturn and like 9 games) for a PS1, Tekken 2 and FF7. I couldn't stand both games... I actually stopped console gaming for almost a year cause every game I bought/rented was polygon cluttered 3D garbage and 2D games sucked on PS1. But then...Castlevania SOTN came out...and I discovered Resident Evil series...and MGS came out...etc. I tried FFX on PS2 as well...I just don't have the patience for those games. I don't have patience for sandbox games...let alone JRPGs. |
fair enough, but FF13 is nothing like X or VII from a gameplay perspective
oh well if not a buy I will at the least make you download the demo when it come to Xbox Live!
All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

I youtubed this game and it looks sweet...except its a ps3 exclusive. Cant play those yet... |
doh, I don't know what I was thinking.... so still -1 for other from me
With you been a Sandbox fan (I know like me you rate Dead Rising very highly indeed) i would go with Crackdown 2.
4 player co-op campaign (as opposed to 2 player in Crackdown 1) and 16 player online multiplayer (as opposed to no multiplayer in the origional)

for sure...ill try the demo. But the moment I see a menu driven battle system, its being deleted and sent to the depths of hell where it belongs. :)

Yeah, Crackdown was awesome, one of the few sandbox games I liked. When sandbox is used in an original way, I love it. When its just ripped out of GTA series I can't stand it...
Dead rising = good
Saints row = bad
But yeah...Im leaning towards Crackdown 2. I just wish I knew the release date.

So lets see a vote at what you think I should pre-order... Is Alien Vs Predator going to be any good? Will I enjoy meat and bones game like Dantes Inferno after the spectacular Bayonetta? Is Halo Reach too far away to be pre-ordered at this point? |
No, Alien vs Predator is not going to be good. I heard it first hand from one of the developers of the game that it's pretty much gonna suck.
Halo Reach is too far away. No reason to pre-ordern.
Go for Dante's Inferno. It's a must-play in this generation.

Online? never pre ordered, when I go in store they never take money from me, just give me a receipt |
Yeah see it's kinda inconvenient travelling to England just to pre-order some stuff

There's no release date so far for any of the sandbox games that i'm looking forward to in 2010.
Dead Rising 2
Crackdown 2
Red Dead Redemption
Mafia 2
But they are featuring Crackdown 2 more and more often on inside xbox on live so i'm optimistic its not too long to wait now.
