Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

As long as this doesn't affect the NA release date I don't mind.

What a disappointment.
Hope the delay is short

Its not delayed it NA, Since it never had a release date.

Well By the time it gets out Forza 4 will be out with more features and more cars.

Looking at the features thus far announced, it looks like GT5 has more content than Forza 2+3 put together, considering it has 1000 cars, HD YouTube uploads, weather, night racing on every track, among numerous other fun things.  Why would Forza 4 change anything?

And what did Forza have to do with this thread?

I suppose it is competition even if it is indirect. I am not sure having a 1000 cars can excuse the delay but like I said before the fanbase for GT seem to be very forgiving.

The problem as I see it is the competition even indirect competition such as Forza will overhaul GT simple because of the output and it is this output that makes the FM comparison inevitable. The FM franchise has already churned out critically acclaimed sim racers with each one getting better. PD really do need to get product out the door and speed up the output or even the forgiving GT community will eventually wain.

No matter how many times you say it forzas not competition to GT. Forzas a 2nd tier franchise sales wise.

its probably gonna be a worldwide simuleteneout release not

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

i dont understand why you're all whining. this is a delay in japan. are you guys living in japan? i doubt it. are you all planning to import the japanese version? really?

stop whining. if your country's version gets delayed, then complain. as it is, your countries have not had delays, so it's really odd for you to start complaining now.

It will at least be the best racer ever well.

Balls. GT5 will probably be twice as good as Forza 4, and GT fans won't drift cause there's no other alternate racer, at least on consoles that they can turn to. Its night and day between GT and other console racers, and it cracks me up when people say 'they're close' when thats just what they have been made to believe.

I was about to post this, you beat me to it.

The usual Sony thing, lets announce the game over and over again and keep delaying it. How much money and how many years has this been in production? Jesus!
