halo 5 will sell 10 million copies(including digital)

x1 will pass ps4 in USA, and UK.

20 million or so users from start of 2010. $40 a year. thats $ 800 million for 2010.
and thats not counting any growth in 2010 so in 2010 xbox live could mak over a billion dollars.

I was on Live from day one, though I think I let it lapse for a year or two.

Back on Xbox I dont remember much about it. I remember my first game of Unreal Championship with people talking, it was uncommon then so it seemed kind of awkward.

Anyways yeah, on Xbox, Live was mostly a curiosity imo. Only the 360 version did it really become worthwhile.

Interesting that its still the same price. Given inflation, it means really the price has dropped. At 3% inflation per year, $50 in 2002 is equivalent to about $40 now. I'm expecting MS to bump the price to 59 sometime.

Inflation is probably the reason Amazon can sell a year of Live so cheap.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

NB: Quality or Hype - that makes for long term gaming enjoyment.

I didn't like how the article started off by saying the 360 lacks a good line up of exclusives. I would have to disagree.

Over all an interesting article. The memberships for LIVE have grown tremendously. Imagine if it were free o.0

I'll be 6 in March/April. Worth every penny.

Love LIVE!!! Worth every penny.
