CliffyB's statement doesn't per se conflict with Epic's president statement, even if Gears 3 would also be on the PS3. 4 to 5 years into the future, I don't consider to be "any time soon".

Not, that I am a fan of the Gears series though...

I don't know that. If there's no contract to prevent this, I think it's a possibility. They do try to sell a multi-plaform gaming engine. I have no idea what will happen, just I keep an open mind unless there are clear statements regarding this from Epic Games.
