Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Best Buy, Target: No more Mini game collections please.

so more shelf space for nintendo's own mini game collections : wii play, wii sports resorts, mario party, sonic and mario, still the same if you ask me.

I think they just mean new games. Those that still sell are still good money.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

I hope they're still selling Mario Party 8, Wii Sports Resort, Warioware: Smooth Moves and such.

They're probably talking about the unpopualr ones, I doubt they'll remove Wii Sports Resort,  that is unless they don't want to make alot of money.

Good... lets hope that this will help quality products in the longrun

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

Less minigames, replace them with dead space extraction, the conduit, madworld and other quality 3rd party titles, and we should see more 3rd party sell on Wii. :)

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

hopefully they will instead stock quality Wii games.

Thank god!

I'll believe it when it happens. I'll stick to online shopping.

good for gaming!

Gaming make me feel GOOD!

Maybe unknown minigame collections wont be stocked, but that doesnt mean "quality" games will take there place. Its still the publishers responsibility to sell there games to retailers, and in order for that to happen, the must convince said retailer that its a sound investment. Most of these "quality" Wii games have little to no hype or awareness on even the "hardcore" level, much less the mainstream. Ultimately it still rests on the publisher to sell the game, as always.
