Reasonable on 09 January 2010

Pretty much as expected. Hard to blame MS for focusing more on US/UK core markets recently - Japan is just not worth the effort right now for sales like that and with PS3 sales since Slim it was clearly time for them to protect the markets the 360 has really been embraced by.

Although I'm not sure why they didn't pay to keep Bayonetta exclusive, as it was clearly built only for 360 initially. That would have given them a sure boost in consoles in Japan but I guess it wasn't to be.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Smash Bros. Even gotta bump over 2m in Japan..I love that game. Graces at 200k now Samurai Warriors holding well, Monster Hunter 3 about to cross 1m. Surprised at MW2 for PS3 and Yakuza 3 has done well there. When you look at that Pie Chart it shows just how much dominating Nintendo is doing in the land of the rising sun.

Bet between Slimbeast and Arius Dion about Wii sales 2009:

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.
