  • Mass Effect 2
  • Splinter Cell Conviction

PS3:

  • Heavy Rain
  • God of War
  • MAG
  • and maybe GT5 in the first half in the west

The LineUps are pretty even. Don't know what the Wii offers in the first half of 2010, sorry.

 

And Natal won't be big. It will be huge.


NATAL will definitely be huge initially.  As for the first half the year, PS3 is going to get crushed on the software front in the west.

Hype-wise, yes. Sales-wise, not impossible, but unlikely.

Sales wise it's completely impossible. It has to compete with Final Fantasy XIII across 2 platforms, Halo: Reach, and Gran Turismo 5.

It doesn't stand a chance to win in sales.

xen - I fully disagree there. FF13 caters to a far more niche gamer base. JRPGS aren't as big as they once were. The same applies to GT5. Halo:Reach, all depends on how well it is received by the gaming community, Ive run into a lot of Halo fans thoroughly disappointed with ODST.

you are completely WRONG

- Natal may be HUGE but mostly in the long terme. Just look at the Wii : EVERYBODY love to buy it right now but you always need a "precursor base" that bought new stuff early. There is really a small probability that Nartal will be huge at first particularly because you will have to pay more to get natal compared others 360 sku (even with a price drop).
Indeed, there are even more probability that Natal will fail ... because a disruption try is very hard to perform
hyping something on internet is quite easy .... sell it on real is another story
At the end : Natal = big potential but only potential right now.

- PS3 will dominate early 2010 software sales IMO
FFXIII on PS3 will crush the sales of the 360 versions
GT5 will destroy anything during the first part of 2010, neither Alan Wake, neither Splinter cell, neither Fable, neither mass effect will beat GT5

NEVERTHLESS : 360 and PS3 will both still have a very strong lineup in term of quality

Man you are talking about the end of 2010. To be honest, it is to early to speculate on what the end of this year has to offer. I mean, last year it seemed that sony was destined to fail. only time will tell us what each company will have to offer us this year. Maybe none of these offerings from Microsoft will be worth a hill of beans.

ummm, Nintendo is far ahead of what Sony has, compare the sales

My prediction: The Xbox 360 will sell more software in 2010 than the PS3.

well, I do agree, it may be close du to GT5 but Reach should do the job and the 360 should win 2010

(in the previoust post, the guy was talking about EARLY 2010, not total 2010 ...)
