The system that did the best to me? Easy- the DS. It's 5 years old, still getting tons of great games, and it's STILL breaking sales records? Where's that "It prints money!" picture...?

Agreed, but you can't count the DS apparently. Probably my best video gaming purchase in years.

The PS3 did a complete 360 this year (No pun intended) and kept bringing quality games month after month and the slim/price cut beat practically everybody's expectations. It most definitely had the best 2009.

Most of the voters seem to be multi-system owners. And yeah, this will trigger the usual whining from people about PS3 bias and being outnumbered.

Well there is PS3 bias. If there are more PS3 fans of course the PS3 will be seen in a better light than the other consoles by these people. Of course, the PS3 had a great year and probably deserves the win.

(Not that I know, because I don't, just based of what games it got)
