The history of ff7 should be enough to validate his point. Every ff7 game has been on a sony console.

The movies were also distributed and marketed by Sony.

 

But still...I don't think Sony hold full rights to FF7 until he cites a source.

NO it would not. Sony published everything related to FFVII. So unless something severely changed and Sony execs got really drunk and decided to sell those rights away, it will not happen no matter what M$ does with their money.

Sony didn't publish the PC port of FF7 (amusingly, Eidos did), nor did they publish Crisis Core.

I said that statement two times already, it is mostly ignored in this thread. So I assume that ps3 fans only hear what they want to hear.

In this Gen there will be no FF game which will be an Xbox360 exklusiv. Because FF needs japan. And Japan is PS3 when it comes to HD. There is NO chance that MS will pay to make up for the loss in japan.

Think about it a 360 exclusive FF will cost MS a lot more then just those 2 episodes for GTA because it would sell worse in Japan. And it would sell less in the west too. FF is the franchise for PS ok Xbox has FFXIII but most of the people will buy it on PS3 to get FFvsXIII or FFXIV.


If they release it on Xbox360 then it will be a Multiplatform titel.

And FFVII ? I dont know how the rights are but I mean i have read that Sony has the rights for FF titels released on PS1. I am sure I read this somewhere.
