Why are you taking the UK as its own region, but not the United States?
Anyhow, I'd just take Europe (including the UK) as one region, and have "Others" be South America/Australia/mainland Asia.

Well I think japan should have its own category more then USA/UK because Japan has different sales trends to the rest of the world.

The reason why I split UK from Europe is because its buying habits are different and its by far the biggest part of that region. |
Ah. I don't agree, but I see where you're coming from.
UK and US are easily identifiable as parts of the larger markets that are Europe (or 'others') and America. Japan however is a very distinct, independent market, even if it's in decline.
Personally though, I think the EU should be separated from 'others' as it is clearly a very big, market, distinct from many other parts of 'others' in that it's the industrialized West.
Or perhaps it should be done as close as possible to how the big three divide the market? That way you would separate America, Europe, Japan, Australia/New Zealand and 'others'.

That would be perfect, great idea. More work would probably be involved but it would be worth it.

Because what other Asian country sells as much as Japan? In NA you have atleast 2 major markets in the USA and Canada so might as well combine the two eh?

No, Japan is the only signifigant market for games in Asia. Korea may get there eventually, but right now it's not important enough. USA is part of the same market as Canada, which has similar trends and is operated by the same divisions of the big three. The UK only differs a little from the rest of the EU market as it's English speaking and more culturally influenced by the US. It's less distinct when you include the other English speaking sections of 'others', Australia, New Zealand and Ireland.

Out of curiosity Kowenicki, what are PS3 Vs 360 sales in the UK alone?
OT I like it the way it is. Three is a charm ^_^ and honestly, I think it would just be more fuel for the console wars on ze forums. Breaking down sales to more regions or categories is not going to help your future arguments which is why I ask that question, so it wasn't curiosity - more like "I see what you did there."
