Forums - Gaming Discussion - Microsoft and Nintendo should copy this from Sony

http://blog.eu.playstation.com/

Honestly, the Playstation blog is fucking awesome! Developers talk about their games, answer user questions, and in general, it provides a very nice form of communication between the users and the developers. On top of that, it's a simple but effective tool for Sony to have, and I'm guessing it requires little management.

I know Microsoft have Major Nielsen's blog and Nintendo have just launched their Twitter thingy, but neither stacks up to the PS blog. So why not copy it? It should be one of the easiest things to do.

You can't shoot things on a blog, and babies can't read, so I don't think it would suit either one's target audience.

No, their target audience is people who worship everything they do and start threads asking why Nintendo and Microsoft aren't doing those things.

if nintendo (not sure about M$) copies something from sony fanboys will stab them...

Oh snap, I suppose I'm in the Playstation target audience then! :-O

fft. That would require Nintendo to be open and communicative about their internal processes, and release sizable amounts of relevant information more than three times a year. A good idea, but unfeasible for them

It might be something Microsoft might be up to. That sort of openness and community gathering seems to be right up their alley.
