What are you talking about Onimusha. There is no illusion here; only disillusion. Rol has fallen.

Oh dear god!
This thread is going to be a classic for all the reactions. Hopefully people post in here without reading through all the comments first...
We don't provide the 'easy to program for' console that they [developers] want, because 'easy to program for' means that anybody will be able to take advantage of pretty much what the hardware can do, so the question is what do you do for the rest of the nine and half years? It's a learning process. - SCEI president Kaz Hirai
It's a virus where you buy it and you play it with your friends and they're like, "Oh my God that's so cool, I'm gonna go buy it." So you stop playing it after two months, but they buy it and they stop playing it after two months but they've showed it to someone else who then go out and buy it and so on. Everyone I know bought one and nobody turns it on. - Epic Games president Mike Capps
We have a real culture of thrift. The goal that I had in bringing a lot of the packaged goods folks into Activision about 10 years ago was to take all the fun out of making video games. - Activision CEO Bobby Kotick

I really really hope you are kidding here. FTW stands for "For The Win" and has nothing at all to deal with WTF. :)
And those are the only games we played and that she had that we tried. From what I saw though, I really don't care much about the Wii mote and how it controls and handles games. Sure, I did have some curiousity in how it worked and did keep an open mind when trying it. It just comes off as a fad to me and those other games really seem like it would be very awkward in controlling. Maybe to a 12 year old it may be a hit. But when you get a combo of a older generation graphics wise machine and a gimmicky controller it will begin to fade from popularity especially when you start to miss some of the big hits that aren't capable of running on the Wii hardware.
My pokemon brings all the nerds to the yard. And they're like, "You wanna trade cards?" Damn right, I wanna trade cards. I'll trade this, but not my charizard.
Although valid points, it is strange to say such a thing when Super Mario Galaxy is just around the corner, and Smash has turned out to be the dream of every gamer. I think the Wii is a success just with these 2 games.
