World 9 was really something special. I lost around 30 lives when I was trying to finish the last levels with all star coins. In the end I bit a small hole into my pullover but who cares!

That's no bias. FFXIII is selling like a regular FF, or slightly under. That's great, as people were worried about it due to being on the PS3, but...

NSMB Wii is selling like no console game we've ever seen in Japan. On consoles it's only going to fall short of the biggest game ever (SMB1), can you believe it?

Slightly off topic - poor Tales. Poor Tales! Although, have you looked at the price differences on these games? I guess it's always like that in Japan, but it does explain some things to me... 

it's 11th. And I think Taiko 2 is 12th.

Wow the DS is gonna pass 29 million this year.... not long before it reaches 30 million in Japan.

Wii still ~100k ahead YTD per Media Create.

I have to admit though that in December 2008, I would never have guessed that it would by anywhere near this close. Nintendo needs to get off its ass, and soon.

DS will likely top 140 Million in 2010 when wii is defintly going to top 75 Million easily. Nice numbers.
