and the total number of Edition PS3 Bundle Edition includes the body.


So these numbers include the bundles in both the hardware and the software, it seems.

Wow 245k thats massiv. I said 250k and a lot of people meant this would be impossible. And wasnt the PS2 biggest Japan week just 172k (FFX launch). This is historical for PS.

245k plus 400k Europe and 350k NA. I remember Famitsu Numbers alwas a lot lower for the PS3 then Media Create and VGChartz. So maybe 245-250k. If PS3 doesnt reach 1 Million this week it would be damn close. For sure over 900k.

Hmm,2nd week should be big too
1.8-2.0 million by the end of the year hopefully
NSMBWii is at 1.4 million,with the XIII week it should be around 2 million
It all depends on XIII's 2nd week

FF has lost some of his appeal but it is still hard to know at which point ...

alot of people were saying it would flop and not even pass 1 million in the first week, but i do agree with you it has lost some of it's charm, for me it's been a bit disappointing after FFX was released, FFXII was a huge dissapointment to me. But still this is the first release for a next gen FF, you should see it sell more than FFXII in the end.

Congrats to Square Enix and Sony, huge numbers !

Now let's hope PS3 reaches 1 million worldwide this week.

It would probably mean PS3 takes the lead in EU installed base and the last country where 360 still leads in the world is the US.

ps3 may not hit a million this week but it will be close.

i reckon over 900k, which in its self is a huge kick in the face for those specific ppl who somehow want ps3 to fail, even though they gamed on ps1 and ps2 back in the day.



...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

A (somewhat modest) 50k boost in Americas and Others would put PS3 at 929k for the week. Now, chances are PS3 will get more than 50,000 more sales in each region compared to last week. The chances of a million week are very high at this point.


With 50k boost:

Americas: 317k
Japan: 245k
Others: 367k

=929k
