As waked as some of his "predictions" are it's all based on things that he has heard in the industry... yes he is now an "insider" and unless you got invited to EA's game events or Ubisoft's game events then he knows more than you.  And he says what he thinks with no appologies for being wrong... I personally really like him... he doesn't get all pissed when idiots come and post racist shit on his site he just rolls with it.  HHG has also droped VGCharz's site several times when talking about the sales of games.

I think he isn't credible because of how often he is dead wrong. He claimed a million pre-orders of KZ2 in Europe alone, a KZ2 Super Bowl commercial, Bioshock as a timed PS3 exclusive, an Insomniac 360 game, a Halo remake, and a number of other dead wrong predictions. He makes shit up to get hits. I don't know why you feel the need to defend him. Honest to god my only explanation is that you are him. I can't think of any other reason people would still bother listening to him.

HHG is like a direct feed to the inside... he has NDAs he can't break and you know when he reaches that point, but the man will tell you what he's heard... I'm sure there was talks about trying to get Bioshock 2 and Insomniac 360 game is from a change of wording on Insomniacs part... as for a Halo remake he was just bouncing it off as a possibility if God of War remake did good that Microsoft mite do the same.  He's also a gamer so he'll shoot off how he feels or make bold predictions based on how he feels much like we do, but you shouldn't fault him... he isn't making money off that shit.
