Last great FF game was FFVIII, so no surprise there. I'm actually starting to wonder how fans can keep the faith.

I think we are all hoping they re-discover the magic that once made a great FF game, the last one for me was FFX, since then it all has been bad except Crisis Core on the PSP, I wonder how many of their talented staff left ages ago to make Mistwalker, because Lost Odyssey really reminds me of the old FF's.
I am really hoping FFXIII is just as good as FFX, can't wait to play on it.

I went into this seeing the number of negative reviews and then the positive reviews are overwhelmingly given a thumbs down and thought it was like "whoa people don't like it" but then I saw the trend that most FF games get this treatment on Amazon.

So in the end... big deal move on people...

i killed myself the first 15 hours of the game by reading spoilers, watching Livestreams, etc.
BUT i wanted to know some things, because i was pretty worried at first too.

okay -

Fleeing in battle's- never seen, could be right. (that sucks <.<)

Town's - there are very few to none in the first hours, but i think they wanted to gave people the feeling to be hunted. But there are some, like the ones in FFXII - sometimes just some houses for recovering, but also (not rly often) bigger ones. But it looked right the way it is.

Storyline - okay, i cant understand a single word, but from what ive seen from the Cutscenes, things are awesome (almost stunning) presented. looked rly great.

Linear leveldesign - from what ive seen, the levels are really railway like, with some other ways for treasures. but they are just beautiful made. (almost like FFVIII).

'just attack and you'll win' - not really. the first hours, it works, but enemy's at Chapter Five are hitting pretty hard, and its not enough to hit X the whole time.


.... so, and thats all. i dont wanna spoil myself more, but from what i've seen so far, im pretty satisfied.

disappointing ...or Didn't Meet a Couple Fans VERY VERY high Expectations so they say its not that great and everyone jumps in line , im really sick of this happening with the most popular games Even tho they are really good.

I have Final Fantasy 13 for my PlayStation 3. It is awesome! The story is great and the caracters are interesting. The graphic is good too :) Great game i think!

@my comments - the only annoying thing is, that Vanille really throws her arms away while running. :P

i played about 20 hours.....best battle system,best graphic, bad scenario.too long movies....maybe most difficult FF
