Does any body know what What newer PS3 games have the newest frimware on them.

I didn't know any PS3 games came with firmware on them.

PS3 games don't release with the FW on disc. Most of them don't require them except online only titles, but if you're buying online only games then you must have no problem connecting online to install FW already.

As far as FW and games go, I've read people not being able to play AC1 properly until updating to a certain FW. This was around the time of the game's release and the FW was released before the game. I've also heard something related to FW about Ratchet:ToD but I can't remember what was stated.

I believe certain games do come with FW updates on the disc but I am not sure. I think MW2 comes with a FW update but I am not entirely sure. I just remember my friend saying that when his friend brought over some games he was able to finally get a new FW update(since he doesnt have internet at his place) from playing one of the games. When I was there we were playing his friends MW2 game so I assume it was that one but he did have a few other games with him so it could have been one of those. I'm not 100% sure.

Some games do have FW on them. I remember when I bought my PS3 before I hooked it up online NG Sigma installed an update.

I know updates are possible via Computers also.

I would suggest you try using Uncharted 2 as it requires patch 3.0 because sony shrunk the usage of the OS, so Uncharted 2 was able to utilize more of the PS3's power.

You clearly have an internet connection, so you can just patch it through the Network.

yes i do have internet but i might want tp upgrade my slims harddrive
and i need a newer fw i dont trust my self puting fw on a thumb stick lol

The firmware doesn't upgrade to the HDD. I believe it updates on the systems own internal memory. So you can update your firmware and change your HDD without worry.
