is this a joke? ... or... ?

cause if you can't animate a skirt in this day and age, then you must be seriously get another job , maybe sell your pants for a living kind of job

Edit : wait its about the Newer LoZ? the one on the Wii or the DS one?

The DS one, durh. you think Nintendo wouldn't animate Zelda's dress in the new Zelda for Wii? XD

notice the Wii in

"After Miyamoto admitting that Nintendo didn't want to bother with skirt physics so they didn't include Peach as a playable character in NSMBWii,"

NSMBW is a 2D platformer, and while we know next to nothing about the new Zelda for Wii, I highly doubt it'll be a 2D platformer.

Judging by Japanese anime I'd say there would be plenty of people at Nintendo willing to spend time animating a young girl in a short skirt!!

That... Really has absolutely nothing to do with this, though.

Nintendo are masters at being sarcastic.

This is why I endorse them.

@NJ5. Fighting games are always harder to compare to anything else, since they've got less going on overall, they can focus more on little things like that

Though i agree. Two instances of them saying this in such a short time. Has to be a joke.

Nice joke.

I'm surprised nobody said this yet, it just goes to show how tha gaming world isn't clued in at all.

The biggest inventions were made by working around technical limitations, creativity must be starved. It is likely that they wish competitors will take the bait and drown their studios in "resources" which will stale them.

Nintendo's tactic for development is hidden in plain sight.

Nintendo isn't beyond making some of the most critically acclaimed games of all time, but skirt physics are beyond Nintendo?

Skirts > Nintendo?

Doesn't Link wear a skirt, along with tights in the 64 game, Ocarina? hehe I know.. its a "tunic"
