HMV and GAME have dropped the price of the Xbox 360 Arcade down from the RRP of £159.99 to £109.99 GBP.

The retailers, who are probably keen to cash in on the holiday console rush, have introduced the deal which includes the console, a wireless controller and a month's Gold subscription to Xbox LIVE, for around a third off the usual price.

Earlier today, we reported on the news that the 360 is the most-wanted console for Christmas. Surely this deal will help the sales even further.

In Ireland Harvey Norman are selling arcade for 149 Euro.
Gamestop are selling the arcade for 100 Euro with three games traded in off a list.
Also selling the 20 gig brand new for 149 with one game.
Seemingly MS sold them a shitload of them as they are discontinued.

I reckon MS are going all out to win Xmas period.
