I can't remember thinking it was hard back then, just annoying.
the words above were backed by NUCLEAR WEAPONS!

That has nothing to do with this convo dude.

You mean Lord Jabu Jabu's Belly?

Actually it does. When you realize what else is out there in the level of difficulty you learn to appreciate certain games more, especially Ocarina of Time which to me is the best Zelda ever made along with being one of the best games ever made period. Ocarina got it just right in all aspects. Ninty devs should look at Ocarina's gameplay, puzzles, etc as a starting point and at TP for visuals. Not saying they should copy them both and mesh them together, but grabbing an idea here and there to have a starting point is always good. I am sure they are well aware of Ocarina's success but should not fall into the trap of copy/pasting it either. TP shows off some of the best visuals on the Wii so far, so it doesn't hurt to grab that engine, or even a slightly improved one and work with it. As for Ocarina, it doesn't hurt for them to research what it is that fans loved the most about that game. Demon's Souls was brought in as a difficulty comparisson in order to bring out more appreciation for what Zelda has done, and not let the series fall into the trap of becomming too niche. Hope this all makes sense.
Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)
I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/ hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.
It was far more easier in Master Quest. Why? You got the Longshot earlier on

I wasn't aware that Demon Soul's difficulty came from areas other than the combat. Interesting.
It was probably more annoying than anything, having to bring up your item screen all the time to switch to the iron boots etc. Oh, and the boss. Annoying as well.
The water dungeon in MM was a lot more fun, also kept its difficulty

Ok. Fair enough.
It feels so clunky to play this game after a few months.
And losing where I was is just terrible.
I have to relower the water level and check everywhere again...
