I'm currently trying to same save enough cash to register a patent on a musical instrument I've created that's apart of the instrument types of today.

Showed it to a local Luthier (read: guitar crafter) and he went curious on it and said unfortunatelly we wasn't able to built it.
So now I'm saving to pay a designer to do an industrial drawing of it and technical explanation and to further registate the damn thing on the national patents.

I need about 3500€ for it, starting at 500€ a month and saving about 40~50€

The worst part: I'm affraid to show it so one may copy it. I may have, or not, my life in a piece of paper and a rotten 3D sketch.

Well having a look at the thread I was pleased that I'd be richest so far, but also a bit disapointed I'm presumably the oldest also! I thought these days there were more adults gaming.

You should put in a bank or something like that. You know it can value lots of money if happens to be good.

It is paid on a per hit basis, so it really depends on how good your article is and if you got it on digg/n4g/redit.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy
In the past we played games. In the future we watch games. - Forest-Spirit

My plans then is to show it to fender or gibson.. Sell the patent or something. I don't know how this works really well yet.
