Sony has more studios, Microsoft has more money.  There's a difference in philosophy here though, Microsoft could fund 10-20x the internal studios Sony could if that was their goal.

Microsoft's games sell far, far better though.  I mean if we look at the top 5 for each 1st party this gen...

why stop at 5 ? iam guessing you choose 5 casue Sony have more games.  List them all.  Or make this after GT5 and GoW3 come out but then it wont be in 360s favor. 

LOL HAlo 3 did not have a hardware bundle, my local Best Buy still have the HAlo3 elite for sale.  

By the way GT5p is at +4m and Forza2 at 3.5 according to PD and Turn Ten.

1st party published, not developed.  If we restricted it to that, the majority of everyone but Nintendo's sales would vanish.

Why is it that the majority of gamers on this post seem to feel that Natal will be sans-controller thus "just using your hands and thin air?" Does no one else see how cool it will be to pick up a ping-pong paddle and play against another user with real ball-spin dynamics etc?? To my knowledge there has been nothing to suggest that Natal won't be able to do things like this. Nerf swords for hack and slash... bats for baseballs. I mean, they can calculate your force, trajectory, and motions... why not have accessories that you can use to pimp it out. MS is allllll about the accessories.. they see Wii having these plastic toys that the wand fits into and they sell very well. With Natal there is no wand, just the accessory. Why would they not be able to release a wheel like mario-kart and have just that? Or a nerf gun to do FPS etc.. I don't know but I am sure the folks creating these games sure do. I think that the wii has shown that people of all ages are into motion controls no matter how "simple" the game is. It really is about gameplay, which is something that Wii has down very well.

You had a problem with me saying Sonys 1st party as a reason for PS3 owners to stay with PS in the future. So show 1ST party, don't cherry pick and twist everything to fit you bs.

Missed your edit, so I'll respond here.  I did top 20 each, I'm not going to go through and list the 150+ games the 3 have published this gen (though I included their totals).

The Halo 3 Elites didn't actually include the game.  They were just a differing premium case.  H3 sold all it's copies outside any official bundle iirc.

Halo Reach will outsell GT5 and Gears 3 will outsell God 3.  Their lower tier titles (Fable III, Crackdown 2, Perfect Dark 2, etc) will outperform Sony's (Heavy Rain, WKC, Last Guardian, etc) as well.  360 will always have the 1st party edge over PS3 sales wise, this really isn't in question.
