i'm know kinda pissed because i apparently overlooked a seed pod somewhere along the line, and now i need a purple seed for one level to be able to play it.

come try out the computer game i've been working on for my high school senior project, titled sling ball. http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=76669&page=1

you can view a few screenshots from the game in my photo album here; http://www.vgchartz.com/photos/album.php?album=2312

<Potential Spoilers>

Sounds like you are in or around the forest - its probably the trickiest area of the game. Look for any coins you have missed - each of the seed pods has a trail of coins leading to it, to make it harder to miss them.

Also make sure you check out all the entrances to the maze ;)

There is one distinct point where you can try levels out of order - and won't be able to proceed because you are missing a purple.

Wander around a bit, and let me know if you are still having troubles.

Found and added a 3rd review - another 8. This page also reviews the other WiiWare games out the same week:

I get the feeling the reviewer only played through the first part of the game - a few things aren't mentioned. Overall, its another fair and decent review - although I still disagree with the concept that its a "kiddie" game (rather an "everyone" game).

That is a very good interview. I've been wondering if there was going to be one on VGC, I figured somebody else would have asked you by now. If you want to have an interview put up, I can think up some questions to ask an send you a pm. Normally I only post the "Sales of the Day" articles that I do but I'm sure it would be fine for me to post this.

I'm always up for an interview, and I should be able to answer some interesting questions. PM or email me, and we'll chat.

great interview shams. good read.

about my proplem, i am at the very end of the game, with 240 stars and 48 levels mastered. to get into that cave, i still need to play a level called "flowerworks prime" but i can't, because i'm one purple seed short. i've spent a good hour looking around the island again, but i can't find another seed pod.

Congratulations on the achievement Shams.

This is one of the few WiiWare games that I'll be buying.

Ummm... ok. From memory, I thought there were plenty of seeds available by the end of the game - but I might be wrong. There is a *chance* that by doing some levels in an odd order, you managed to break the seed/colour rules (definitely not something we ever managed to do!). I'll need to look into it - it would suck if you couldn't continue!

BTW, Level 49 gives you 2x{Orange,Purple,Green} - so doing it before a different level would solve the issue.

I guess you found the seed pods hidden at the top/bottom of the city?

(give me some time, I'll need to look into this!)
