@ leo-j and steroid
If you're going to come into my thread and shit things up, I don't have any issue with kicking you out. By all means with both of your histories I should just go ahead and do it, but consider this the warning, you're both welcome to make real responses, and enjoy a good discussion.
MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"
Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000
I was being extremely sarcastic with all of my points.. I don't mean to cause trouble, I mean rol does it all the time

Rol has been banned for it too, try that with someone else.

Sony had and overall better year than both MS and Nintendo(compared to 2008)
Sony started out the year with not so good holiday sales, people again bashing it, laughed at the 13 million prediction(which is atleast more possible now)
Killzone 2 didn't meet the super fanboy hype expectation(though it still sold well)
Infamous came out and was recieved well,
E3 came and Sony didn't hit hard but impressed many people with gameplay footage and demos of U2 and GoW III, surprised people with FF XIV(until the *online* title popped up) and the PSPGo($250? really)
Sony suffered from the summer drought, though Batman and Madden 10 managed to sell well on it
Then Sept 1st, probably the saving grace for the PS3 came out with an amazing 1st week and month, Oct rolled in and the PS3 hit hard that month with Uncharted 2, Demon Souls, and Rachet & Clank.
the PS3 managed to outsell the 360(WW sales) all throughout Oct, and surprisingly Nov. which was suppossedly the 360's month(PS3 vs 360) and the PS3 was able to beat it on BF(PS3 sold more in the U.S. then the 360 WW)
I'm very pleased with the PS3's preformance this year, so congrats Sony
The winner this year is the PS3. I love my 360, but the PS3 just put out too many great games. Right now it is the console to beat for value. I think the 360 needs to step it up a little before Natal releases.

You are aware that he has a PSP, right? |
PS3 then, makes no difference to the point I'm making
I think Nintendo wins in software and hardware sales every year but that doesn't mean it has most quality titles.
And I don't know does Nintendo even need to make those quality titles for Wii at least since it still sells so much.
Take my love, take my land..
PS3 for its turnaround with the Slim and the best exclusives (Killzone 2, inFamous, Demon's Souls, Wipeout HD Fury, Uncharted 2, Crack in Time, GOW Collection, etc).
Big respect for the resilience from Sony. :)
Even if they can't stop leaks for shit!
I'll just give quick and dirty scores for each console and handheld.
PS3 - A - Tons of great games with exclusives that I purchased more than once
360 - B - Great year with tons of great new games, but lacked that exclusive hit for me
Wii - B - Best year for the Wii by far. MadWorld, HOTD: Overkill, Muramasa, LKS, and many more. Great.
PSP - A+ - The handheld has released so many quality games this year and I haven't had the chance to get all of them (I still want to get about 5 or 6 more). I've had an absolute blast.
DS - A- - I finally caved and bought a DSi for myself. I was little underwhelmed considering the hype for the DS but FF4 and SRT are both phenomenal games and are worth the purchase alone.
I honestly don't care enough to give a sales perspective.
