I don't even own the game, but congrats to MW2/MS/Xbox360

Back in my day, I remembered that MW stood for Mech Warrior.

Oh yeah, my bad, it is 5. I could make a post for 6 next week with gears. The real reason I made this post was to help highlight, through satire, how stupid i think posts about a 6 million sold game are. I understand 1 million being a praiseworthy amount, same with 3 million, 5 million, and 10 million; but 6 million? Just found it odd... that's all.

you missed the point, because its not about a random game selling 6 million after it being 5 million , its about it being the best selling PS3 game.

Brilliant!  I never called anyone stupid, I called the thread stupid.  I understand that the top selling PS3 game is finally breaking 6 mil, but I just don't see how that is a news worthy milestone... In fact, I think a bigger post-worthy tidbit would be that the best selling PS3 game is ONLY at 6 milllion and is a neutered version of the same game that Xbox360 has and that the xbox version has millions more of the same copy sold.  I think it is sad that the best selling game on that console is (IMO) a boring run-of-the-mill GTA game... that's sad :(

Dude there was a 6 million seller thread for PS3 because GTA4 was its first.

The 6th 6 million selling title for 360 is not noteworthy.

But anyways MW2 totally fucking pwns all other games.
