I guess the preview for BF shows that there was probably a slight overtracking that even dated from beginning of the month, so i'd assume numbers arent as spectacular as they seem, at least not yet. However i could be wrong of course

One thing is almost certain. The gap in worldwide sales between PS3 and 360 will be the lowest it's ever been by the end of the year. Also, PS3 will be ahead of 360 in Others.

Everywhere I see you post, it's a tiny acknowledgment for the good sales Sony just had, usually immediately followed by some dismissal on another front. Agreed that other points sometimes need to be taken into account as well, but it's starting to look like a crusade to minimize it, while trying to protect the 360.
