Saaaay, can admins move topics from one forum to another? I have a topic that would be very appropriate to move to a certain game's forum!

Guess I won't be making official threads no more.

I was about to argue with this when I realized that I couldn't.

So are each of the console/company forums more about gaming news now, and not game-specific news?

I think it's safe to say we're going to treat the new forums as being limited to things like official threads and, perhaps, throwback/let's play threads. Game-specific news will continue to be in the broader threads, if for no other reason than most people will not read this notice, and will thus continue to do so.

Plus, that makes things infinitely easier for casual browsers.

It seems to depend on speed: you have a grace period after posting in which it won't say that you edited it at all.

I was actually considering something like this as I would sometimes post links to offical threads on a game's wall if I was passing by. I like the idea and it should certainly remove all of the clutter we get around Hyped Game X release.

Did anyone every figure out that if I did something like make the official Ghostbusters thread of super awesome! in the 360 forum, would it also appear in the Ghostbusters PS3 forum?

All the "Official _____________ Game threads" can be locked and moved to specific forums right?
