I've had my HD TV for about 5 days now and I miss SD. Most of the channels I watch are in SD and they look blurry and awful. I also dislike playing me Wii on this thing. I can't get a setting where Wii Sports Resort and New Super Mario Bros. Wii don't look so pale and jagged.

if you go to your tv settings there should be a setting for aspect or something similiar, change it to 4:3. Letter box or panoramic.

My family has a 108 inch custom tv, it isnt a lcd but a rear projection. It is 1080p, my parents put in about 45000 into it!! The worst part they wont let me use it for games :( We only use it for their tv shows and for movies. But they did buy me a pioneer Kuro 60 inch! :) and surrond sound.

=o, you make my 32 inch sound like those old tube tv's back in the 40's lol, i would sneak my ps3 into that 108 inch tv lol

I want to also, but my parents have given me so much, maybe i can trick them that uncharted 2 is a movie .

I'll try that, thanks.

Pixel Art can be fun.

61" JVC 720p rear projection.  Bought it 3 years ago while stationed in Japan.  Gets the job done.

360 Games Now Playing   360 Games unopened:  Resonance of Fate  Last 360 Game I Beat: Resident Evil 5

DS Games Now Playing: Dragon Quest VI  DS Games unopened Knights in the Nightmare, Etrian Odyssey III, Okamiden, Dragon Quest IX Last DS Game I beat: Radiant Historia

Wii Games Now Playing  Super Mario Galaxy 2, Arc Rise Fantasia  Wii  Games unopened  Little King's Story, Sonic Colors, Silent Hill Shattered Memories Last Wii Game I beat: Sin & Punishment 2

I don't have a HD tv, only 480p CRT :( but its pretty good, refresh rate is awesome and color gamut is huge! lol j/k ... I won't mind a HD tv at all, they are too sexy.

But as far as wasted time for uncharted 2, just play through it again at 720p dude! Then whenever you get a 1080p one, play through it again in 1080p. This actually saves you some moneh :p ... I know I'll play through RE5 again with everything on max when I get a new PC.

Its a 27 inch Samsung LCD. It gets up to 1080i.

Keep in mind I game in my bedroom, so a 40-50 inch TV wouldn't really fit anywhere.

What kind of TV do you have? Certain brands are known for shipping with rubbish presets.  My parents got a 32 inch Samsung a couple of weeks ago and I had to go into the service menu to make the necessary adjustments. It's worth doing a Google search and seeing if you can find some recommended settings. I wouldn't follow them to the letter but often they are a good starting point.

It's a 46" Insignia.

Pixel Art can be fun.

I have 2 of these, 1 for tv/gaming the other for just gaming(system link FTW!)

I dont know if I "love" my LCD's but having 2 huge tvs is a gamer and tv/movie watchers dream. I dont have any cash but I want a 7.1 sound system for movie night.

Everything looks great on it including SNES, NES, 64, Saturn and 3do. Only complaint is light guns dont work on the TV for old school rail shooters(which is the case with all LCD/Plasma/ect). Wii looks great with the 480p mode on(havent used it without it so I cant compare to anything).

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
