This IS good if true, more features are always good.

Though some HAVE PSP to play their games, some like me don't and would prefer to just buy only the game than PSP + the game

Why would sony do that when people are still paying for PSP's?

im pretty sure they will make it so that you can only play them IF you have a PSP connected.

i think it would be great (for me) but i'm not sure why sony would want to make the psp a bit more irrelavant. psp2 confirmed??

Who said you wouldn't need a psp to do this?

This is still a rumor and the mentioning of an emulator could have been just assumed by the editor of this story.

All it could be is that you plug your psp to ps3 through USB and your TV shows the psp screen and it lets you use the dual shock to play, without having to use the video cables or get a psp GO to use the ps3 controller.

And using USB to output the psp screen has already been done using homebrew, I used it to play on my laptop screen a few times using my old psp-1000.

Again, people, we don't know when this will release, if at all. Software sales for the PSP are extremely low, so obviously not a lot of people buy PSPs to play a lot of games on them. With this solution, Sony could move much more software and thus make more money and attract more developers.

I think that would be awesome. I´m picking Patapons, Locorocos ane Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker games.
