Heavy Rain. Been anticipating this game alot. I won't get it day one but this is the one I'd play first.

Heavy Rain. Because I won't have a 360 when Alan Wake releases. But even if I had, it wouldn't make a difference. The very concept of Heavy Rain makes it more appealing to me than Alan Wake, so I would still choose it over Alan Wake.

Reasons:

Heavy Rain because it has a very mature story and presentation. Also I like how they are using quick time events with multiple choices (and hopefully that'll affect the outcomes further in the game, but that is a bonus I don't expect).

Alan Wake because I love horror and fear and this seems to be a real smart game with a sophisticated story. I love the atmosphere and setting with the small town, pine trees and mountains.

Well I have been wanting a decent horror game since Silent Hill 2? I think it was that one. When it comes to horror I only play the best, and we all know how dry that river is.

Heavy Rain looks great, though I think I have to be in the right mood for that sort of game.

yeah you're right, because I only have an xbox so out of the two Alan Wake is the only one I can actually buy right now

They both bring something different to the table, I couldn't comment on which I would like best until I played both of them. Alan Wake is more my kind of game though ...

Has Heavy Rain got a relase date yet?

Heavy Rain because it sounds like it will last me quite a while because of how bendable the story is and I really love a good story in any game/movie/show.

I have very little interest in Alan Wake.
