Reasons:
Heavy Rain because it has a very mature story and presentation. Also I like how they are using quick time events with multiple choices (and hopefully that'll affect the outcomes further in the game, but that is a bonus I don't expect).
Alan Wake because I love horror and fear and this seems to be a real smart game with a sophisticated story. I love the atmosphere and setting with the small town, pine trees and mountains.
