Forums - Nintendo - Resident evil Darkside Chronicles sales?

"Great. Its settle now. Wii will only see Rails shooters for the rest of its cycle. Thank you for nothing everybody."

Monter Hunter is a hit there, and that's not a rail shooter, especially if Nintendo and Capcom break it through in the west.

Plus Extraction shows being a rail shooter is not a guarantee of a hit.

Extraction is climbing to 100K soon at full price. Might have strong legs especially after price drops.

Cherry picking Monster Hunter doesn't prove much. That was already a mega popular franchise in Japan. We know the Wii can move very successful franchises.

You obviously missed the context. See what I was replying to.

Plus MH Tri is by the same developer as Darkside Chronicles. How could that be cherry picking? And the fact that it shows the Wii can sell hit series actually furthers my point. It means developers don't have the excuse Wii can't sell those games, even though they claim that.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Plus, just for the hell of it: Kelly Brook at the 2008 BAFTAs

DSC and MHT do not have the same developer.

I guess he meant publisher.

I just bought it Wii Zapper bundled...grow sells, grow!

Yeah, I meant to write "Capcom", not "developer".

I don't like the button config used with the zapper, you cannot place the nunchuck in the zapper because it decided to use motion controls instead of button presses for reloading and the knife. Means you gotta use the zapper one handed which is just crap.

Great example of motion controls hindering a game more than it benefits.

I do think so.However I had not one; I want to try it on some games,I realised my accuracy was really better with it on Call Of Duty MW but yeah it is difficult with it to move...maybe need more practise...

I think we reach a million in about 6 months.

Similar Sales Umbrella Cronicles.

I hope to me this game in early December.

Saludos!!

I like Capcom, especially that they do deliver good wii games even if they're few adn far between, but at least not a load of shovelware like most companies. I think in doing that they gained more consumer trust on the Wii than others. Thats probably why RE:DC sold really well, and i hope they deliver more good games

capcom trust in mature wii market will be solidified further by this sucess.Which is great.I hope this reminds them of other titles. Given that Darkside is the last of the chronicles, i hope the next aproach from capcom is something in the lines of Lost Planet or Devil Might Cry.
