Luckily for the title, potential drops in sales will be slightly eased by the season. Black Friday and general Christmas shopping could help it out.

Monter Hunter is a hit there, and that's not a rail shooter, especially if Nintendo and Capcom break it through in the west.
Plus Extraction shows being a rail shooter is not a guarantee of a hit.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
