I agree that MP1 has my preference for the exploration (with that tallon overworld theme). However, MP3 is a better game overall and you feel more pressure in MP3 than in MP1, since the wiimote makes MP1 easier.

I liked prime 3 as you dont have to switch beams ( I wish I could keep my plasma beam but couldnt) though both are great games. I just prefer metroid prime 3.

I cant decide their both so good, I think Ill give the slight edge to MP3 though

I do not agree. Metroid Prime is better...much better.  Metroid prime 3 is better than Metroid prime 2.  Super Metroid is better than all Prime games:)

Prime 3 is my favorite in the series. I loved exploring the desolate space cruiser later in the game, I loved Elysia (so beautiful!), and more than anything I thought it was totally epic when you visit the Pirate Homeworld.

However, I still have a soft spot for Tallon IV, it's just so beautiful in a natural way, whereas Bryyo and Elysia are beautiful in a different way.

Hm, MP3 is definitely the better one. Although I never did complete MP1.

MP3 had much better pacing, and I absolutely loved the different worlds.

This is a tough question. I would have to say that if Prime 1 is still the better game but if it learned a few tricks from Prime 3........it could be just astoundingly good.

Having almost finished replaying all three I still can't change my original opinion. Prime 1 is the best for it's sense of isolation and exploration, Prime 2 has grown in my esteem and has the most satisfying item progression in the game and I would now put it at lot closer to Prime 3 which is still my second favourite.

For me, MP3 is just slightly ahead of MP. I just love the IR pointer action. I haven't gotten a chance to play the Trilogy yet though, so my opinion could change once I get to play MP with the Wii remote.
