I agree that Prime 1's sense of exploration is similar to Super Metroid's. I disagree to whether that sense of exploration is worse in Prime 3. IMO Prime 3 had better exploration becuase it had a more variety of worlds and less backtracking so that you were always discovering new things.

I agree that MP1 has my preference for the exploration (with that tallon overworld theme). However, MP3 is a better game overall and you feel more pressure in MP3 than in MP1, since the wiimote makes MP1 easier.
