Your just pised off at the amount of time it's taking for them to release it like all of are. But trust me you won't be able to resist it when it launches, if your really a RPG lover you'll get it, eventually.

I hate doing this but you shouldn't say RPG lover...since I know a bunch of WRPG fans that don't care about this game. Actually I know some JRPG fans that don't care about Final fantasy series at all.

Well skimming through his games it seems as though he's a JRPG lover and he owns pretty well all the FF games. No doubt he'll be getting FFXIII.

Do you like Japanese Role Playing Games?

yes you r, u need a brain doctor or something lolo

I won't be buying this game. If someone buys it for me, I might play it... who knows. I'm sick of throwing away my money on lame games like Star Ocean and Infinite Undiscovery. Lost Odyssey is cool, but even that I'm barely 10 hours into. Something about the JRPG is just too childish and lame compared to ARPG's anymore. Really here's my guess as to what FFXIII is: A tween male (who kinda looks female) with a soft (but affirmative) voice is thrust into the position that they must save the entire world/univerise as they know it. Along the way they will meet some older warriors (guidance) and some female spellcasters (for some wisdom) and they will wield swords that are 10 ft long and fling them one handed like they weight 4 oz. You'll run around in a mostly linear path until you see a cut scene, play for 20 minutes, cut scene, play for 10 minutes, cut scene. Eventually you'll get to fight a boss, in which case that boss will look like a reject from some dark carnival and then you'll cast the same spell over and over until that boss is done. World/universe saved.. it's time for a sequel.. again.

Haha this is surprisingly accurate.

Maybe that's part of why I like WRPGs a lot more these days, at least I'm sure the main character is a guy or girl, I'm not left guessing.

And it doesn't always start out as 'saving the world/universe' but it might turn into that.

the only main FF games i finished were FF1-9 and FFX-2. right now i can say that if the story and gameplay mechanics will be simillar to older mainstream jrpg stuff i probably won't be picking it up even when it hits 10$. maybe my taste changed or i'm bored with those old gameplay mechanics, but i'm more interested in games like Resonance of Fate, Personas, nippon ichi titles or other non-cliche jrpg/srpg games.

especially now Square Enix is pissing me off with their latest games and i'm sure FF13 will be no exception. another emo fest with bad story line, crossdressing characters and annoying dialogues that i want to skip all the time.

Again with the emo stuff, do you people even realise what the words actually means or you just like to throw that around as lack of argumentation capacities?

Have you seen the last trailer? Where the hell are those "emo" things? And how does the story and romantic feeling difers from anything we have seen from past FF's?

Maybe your taste has changed as you pointed out, yet your next argumentations are really lacking in any reason, logic and substantiation, from what we have seen from FF so far.
