@libellule

thats a very sad and strange attitude. maybe some therapy will help?

why ? If I say I dont like Pepsi and I prefer Coca, is it Sad ?

If I say I prefer Nike I dont like Adidas, is it Sad ?

TELL ME, WHY IS IT SAD ?

Also, Dont worry, as I said, Natal may be REALLY good and I may like it

BUT from now :

1/ I still dont like MS and support Sony on the console market
2/ Natal is still vaporwave to me
3/ I may end up buying a 360 if it becomes a good console with interesting games. Same go for the PS3.
4/ wait and see for Natal

If you want a company to fail simply because you like another better, then yes that is sad.  While I like coke better than pepsi I still don't want either of them to stop making their product or go bankrupt.  Same as the ps3/wii/xbox.

As for the topic, I will agree with it as long as the Natal is bundled, and  is under $99 with some basic software included for those of us who have to purchase seperately.

By the time of Natal release, x360 will be 5 years on the market.
This should be interesting.

Natal will bring some casual gamers to x360, but how many?

i think Ms is at more advantage and at the same time more closer to a big disadvantage here. If natal succeeds in offering high precession controls without a controller ,MS should be prepared for more Dough.Like wise for Sony however even if Wand is a moderate success Sony will recover its Dev cost .However lets assume both Natal and WAND fails then i think MS's loss and embarrassment will be more epic than Sony's.
What say people??

I'd like to see what kind of software they have planned before making any predictions... having said that this one is obviously on the extreme end.

He's basically saying it could go either way, which is really the normal reaction considering how ambiguous Natal is at this point.

I have really no opinion on it yet, but I do find it very interesting how controlled the PR environment around it is. Maybe it has to do with the fact it's not completed, and will be even more amazing. But then, maybe not.

We shall see.

Any pre-judgement at this point, good or bad, is a wild guess or hunch. Beyond propaganda, there's nothing quite there yet.

i think it will have a huge effect on sales

On top of Sony, very possible, Wii, not so much

What do you think Nintendo will do to compete? More price cuts? Vitality Sensor? Please elaborate.

Also, to be clear--I DON'T think the 360 will beat Wii's lifetime sales. I do think the PS3 will be a distant third, though. And Sony's wand will be a flop.

What proof is there that Sony's motion system will flop, and Natal will be a success? It's all hearsay right now, the only support is from people that were already making games for MS as is.

I remain reserved until it launches. I can see it helping sales, but I don't think it'll be a major status changer.
