Why are people saying Tekken won't make it?

Unless you're referring to the PSP version of course.

Actually now that i think about it Tekken 6 may have already made it because we're talking about shipments. Sales are way way behind though. How much did it ship again? I forgot the number.

Well taiko is having a rough start in japan if anything, so it doesnt sem right. Dragonball can make it though if its across 2 versions.(200k NA- 200k EU for each version very plausiable)
Tekken shipments reached 2.5 mil so they're right on that

That didn't stop the Taiko sequels on PS2 or DS from matching predecessors.  500k is a lot, but I expect Taiko Wii 2's actual sales to come closer to it's shipment targets than any other title on the list.

Reminds me of when they predicted Afro Samurai to sell 800k, but only 500k for Burst Limit.

On topic, I could see Raging Blast reaching that, though it's a long shot. Tekken 6? No way. (Actual sold copies, I mean). The others, I suppose are possible?

Like most, I'm also wondering where the hell Tales of Graces is. Maybe this only refers to software that's already been released?

They likely don't expect 450k+ for Graces in Japan alone, which seems to be where the cutoff is.

Already shipped last quarter, no western release expected by the cutoff at least.  It won't be going near 450k+ territory this fiscal year either.

Tekken5 only sold well because of the legs. Tekken4 was what crippled the series.
But anyway. Just got tekken6 today and the whole horrible load times thing was blown way out of proportion... Feels like 4-5 seconds tops between matches in Ghost Battle/Survival/Arcade. This is after the install though.
