Forums - Sony - Frequent freezing since 3.10

Here is my story please listen

I updated my ps3, then one night i was playing, it froze on motorstorm, LBP fallout 3, then in the morning when i queued for modern warfare 2 i got home put it in , and bam, disc read error. hope this doesnt happen though

I used this one from Bestbuy, mind you it says only DVD and CD, but it none the less took care of my problem.  It has a small brush on a disc that that picks up any dirt on the lens.

The best thing you can do is open your ps3, open the bluray drive and clean the lens with a common window cleaner on a qtip.

Before that i tried cleaning discs-> didnt work out as wished

My 80 Gig froze while i was in the Facebook Menu. The only other problem I had before 3.10 was BF 1943 would randomly freeze on rare occasions.

welp i wont play anything til sony fixs it, i just got my ps3 back and dont want them to fuck it up. thanks naz!

My PS3 has been on for the last 9 1/2 hours. No errors to report.

If you want to play Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, you need 3.10. It's unplayable in 3.00, due to crashes. In fact, 3.10 is entirely a Sony response to Uncharted 1 being unplayable since the 3.00.

As for Uncharted, it works fine. Beat it since 3.10, nary a freeze.
