Oh Resident Evil 5 easily. Story was just ugh... I don't even want to talk about it haha.

I'd also throw Super Paper Mario in there. Miss the old days of N64 and GC Paper Mario.


There's definitely more but drawing a blank. But I would like to point out I do agree with Gears of War but in the direct opposite. Gears of War 2 was the completion of a great game that Gears of War 1 SHOULD HAVE BEEN. So instead of the sequel not fulfilling expectations it was the first that didn't and the sequel that accomplished it.

Uncharted 2 really did not fulfill my expectations, i thought it would be generic and boring, but it turned out to be awesome!

Resident Evil 5 - Exact same reasons disolitude said.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn - Boy, people are going to hate me for this. I don't think it's a bad game, not at all, but it didn't interest me nearly as much as Path of Radiance did.

Prince of Persia - Total departure from the Sands of Time trilogy disappointed me, and then when I got to try the game it was so ridiculously easy that I haven't touched it for more than an hour since I got it last christmas.

Dragon Ball: Raging Blast & Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 - Solid games, but I deduct points for them for actually reducing the rosters of their predecessors.

Sonic 06 - I don't think I even need to justify this one.

EDIT: Oh, and MGS4, but I've gone on and on about how I don't like that game so I think most people already know that by now.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl. Much more graphics and content, but my favourite character isn't overpowered anymore, and you trip at random :(

Zelda: Twilight Princess. Better graphics than OoT, but seriously, I want items to be useful outside of the dungeons that they are found in. OoT remains unsurpassed.

The battlefield that came after 2. Battlefield 2 remains the most fun FPS ever.

Age of Empires III. It just didn't feel like a civilization simulator like it's predecessors at all. And that's the edge that the series had against other RTSs.

Sonic Unleashed. So we made the gameplay good, and reduced the amount of characters, and we also added a werehog, everybody loves werehogs...right?
