I put over 500 hours into disgaea and never finished the story.
I almost stopped playing games because a roomate of mine played so much.
I sold my bricked 360 for a 150 and bought a brand new one for 50 and sold that one for also 150.
I passed up sex to get to another save point even though I could save at any time.

Puffy is this really you!? You're like THE Nintendoman! My cap for the month is running low so I switched off web images and didn't see your avatar and only noticed your name there just now. Would never have guessed this. Shameful indeed ;)
Seriously though, PLEAZE play the 1st. It still looks good even if you play it on a HD screen, and it has the best sound of any game I've ever played. I heavily recommend playing with headphones and all the lights off. The best art direction of any game I've ever seen. I'm itching to see what retro could do in HD.
Uh, I've got more!
- I never played a majority of Nintendo IPs, and have very little interest in them.
- Old school games (most 5th generation games and downwards) fail to do anything for me. VC is worthless to me.

I didn't know anything about those games until I came across them on the internet either. I'm not ashamed of it though, so it wasn't on my list.
