Now that I think about it, I never heard of Halo until two years ago (just as anecdote, I'm not ashamed for that :P)

Around the Network

When I was a teenager and my friends and I started drinking, they would come knock at my house on Friday- and Saturday-evenings. I would hide behind couches if they peeked through the windows and just ignore the hell out of them. All this just to play on my PSX and then later PS2. Luckily when I got the Cube everyone had cellphones so they would just call and I wouldn't have to turn down the TV volume or hide X)

In 1998, I didn't have a car. I went on a date with one girl and bought Gran Turismo. I went out with another girl and when we went to the mall, I bought Metal Gear Solid. Both times, I tried to hide my purchase and got caught.

XD

I am amazed that I didn't comment on this one.

THAT'S REALLY FUNNY MAN!

I once blew off a smoking hot chick just to play Metal Gear Solid. The funniest thing is that I already finished the game twice before.

I never played Mario64 even though I profess to be a Nintendo fanboy. I only played OOT on the Gamecube when it came with TWW.

I got bored of FFVII and stopped playing near the end of the second disk.

Resident Evil 1 on PSOne almost made me crap my pants.

I couldn't get out of the FIRST ROOM in the Men in Black game on PSOne!!! LULZ

I've got more, just want to see if anyone's up for this.

haha great...first of all...REALLY...you got to play Mario 64...this game is just mindblowing...you dont say its good or great you say i loved it!!!

loved that with MGS and the chick...and i can understand you...Metal Gear Solid is like what a bible is to christians for me ^^

man i swear you...me and 2 friends had the same with RE1...okay we was like 10 or 11 years old but holy...it wasnt amusing to play that ^^

OT: I bought Heavy Rain at launch day and didnt even played it...but i saw like a friend played it through in my apartment ^^

A friend and me didnt came further than the 1st Disc of MGS1 for whole 2 years cause in the end where you got to jump down with a rope from the building where Liquid was in the Helicopter shooting at you we didnt knew how to jump down...dont know why or how the fukk we managed that ^^ The Point is 2 YEARS...we loved that Game so much but only knew the first Disc and we managed the "call Meryl but you dont got the codec number" or "Psycho Mantis can read yor thoughts" challenges xD

i didnt finished FF X cause at a point youve got to play this Waterball-shit-game and got to win but i really didnt had a clue how i can play this game...tried it a few times with 13 and few times with 18...i just cant beat it ^^

Once in the 8th grade a classmate got to pay me 30€ so that he can have his GTA Vice City back that he borrowed me 2 weeks before...with the 30€s i bought me Vice City Platinum Version...thats game-love ^^

Being in 3rd place never felt so good

- I've had Twilight Princess since 2008 and I still haven't finished it.

- Monkey Magic used to be my favorite platformer

- I used GameShark on 70% of all my PS1 games

- Ju-On: The Grudge scared the hell out of me

And the one I'm most shameful for:

- I'm addicted to CityVille.... :(

Great thread!  Ok, here are some confessions:

I have never played Cal of Duty or Final Fantasy.  Also, I haven't got past the first boss in Super Mario Brothers Wii and the first big dragon in Moster Hunter Tri.  I gave up on both of them as I just never got into them.

On the other side, I played all the way through Cameron's Avatar The Game for the Wii, twice, and also wanted it for my Xbox so I could play in 3D on my families 3D TV (eventhough it's in another state and I only get to play once or twice a year.) I get kind of obsess with Avatar and good 3D. :D

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Never got far into Persona 3 - combination of not being bothered and other games. i might go back to it one day.

Never played Call of Duty - not bothered about that whatsoever.

I was wrong about the Last Story - i thought it would do at least 1 mil in Japan and would end up being a blockbuster selling the likes of 5mil.

*overlooks ancient post by himself*

I do not regret it, though I did grow to love Bioshock and AC.

And in my circle, I'll be a winner for bashing on the N64 :P
