Forums - Nintendo - Review for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex from Nintendo Dpad...

I don't know how respectable Nintendo Dpad is when it comes to reviews but I found this and thought it was pretty good.

Here is the link: http://nintendodpad.com/Welcome/News/Entries/2009/11/10_Call_of_Duty%3A_Modern_Warfare_Reflex_Review.html

What are some of your thoughts?

Unreliable review. It's a Nintendo-exclusive publication, and thus they are biased towards Wii games.

...

See how illogical that argument is now?

Did you read the review?  Not saying it's not unreliable but in this day and age of crap reviews who is? I'm go very much on a review by review basis these days, for all publications.

My thinking on this game, without having played the Wii version is;  if the gameplay remains largely intact, the graphics are decent for a Wii game and the controls are good, considering the source material,  the game has to be at least pretty good.

Whether you want to accept a two year old port and help to fill the coffers over at Activision is another story.

That's actually where I'd put it at, irrespective of other games' reviews. This review is also something I can completely agree with.

The BuShA owns all!

I thought so also.  I happened to stumble upon this and it kinda made me happy to see a positive review for the game.

I'm simply pointing out that many of the people in this thread who say "Great review/score" will probably have said "That review is from OPM/OXM, it doesn't count".

I must say I respect Eurogamer more, who gave it a 6

However, the review does seem mostly reasonable... but I obviously haven't played the game myself. I do also like the fact that you do see every review from OPM or OXM being accused of bias and here we are...
