well I love the beta...... hope it does ok, just pray all the cod noobs stay the F*** away.

8.5 and 9 at gamespot was like the best!

8.0 and less it;s just a piece of crap
9.5 or 10 means you are GTA IV Metal Gear Solid or microsofts money

They need to make a headset bundle, and this might be alright. But im still not sure about this game. I liked the Beta, sort of. Still bugs, but thats beta for ya. It has a nice flow and gameplay. But the Online only, loading and minor confusion with missions, might cause a negative word of mouth among gamers.

I think they need to work on the gameplay and controls. The aiming is off, maybe its just me but it just seems way off

i played the beta and didnt think it was that good tbh. but if its advertised i think it will sell lots.

A lot of Socom fans were put off by the fact that it isn't a TPS. I think that approving this game was a mistake on Sony's part. It requires a full game budget, and the additional commitment of dedicated servers. A $60 game with only an online component will be a tough sell. Zipper should have been working on a proper Socom sequel. That franchise still has some life in it, if it is managed properly.

I hope so.

I wouldn't call this game a sleeper hit, it's really getting some hype/buzz outside of the internet as well(well..where I live) this game will be a sure hit, pre-orders numbers are amazing! even some of my diehard 360 friends are actually buying a PS3 for this.

Why do people keep calling this game a 'sleeper' and keep bringing this game up like they've never heard of it.  Its been given major space at each Sony E3, its been on all the sites multiple times with preview videos and its been hyped by people just like all other shooters.

It'll sell just like all the other major shooters out there.  And as long as they sell over a million copies, it'll be a hit.  Since the game has so much hype, they'll sell well over a million.
