Forums - Sales - Embarrassing sales tracking mistake

I'm not sure what you are getting at here. Mods have been spoken to previously if their own behaviour has been inappropriate it just isn't done publically for obvious reasons.

The general point here is that moderators are chosen to moderate the site content - they are in charge around here and they enforce the rules. In order to do their jobs properly they need to be seen to be "above" regular users and to be in charge. That is how these things work.

That said, we have a hierarchy like most organisations and if you have issues with a moderation decision, speak to Naznatips, if you have an issue with him, talk to me. If you have an issue with me then unfortunately that is where the trail ends!

No problem with how the system works, I've been a mod at a bigger site for quite some time, so I know how it all works

It's just that even though mods are "above" regular users, they are not "above" the rules of the site. If a user gets banned for saying certain things, then a mod shouldn't just be "spoken to". A ban works just as good, and it shows that they are not allowed to do certain things that regular users aren't allowed to do. It's quite hilarious to see people responding to a mod, getting banned for talking smack, while the mod was in fact the one who started it all.

No problem, ioi. Glad to hear your specific stance on the matter and how we can deal with those.
