That's an opinion....but I couldn't disagree more.... Neither could reviewers, apparently, considering that it scored lower, despite releasing earlier in the generation with superior graphics.

That said, it's not v-locked, nor does it run at a steady 60fps, and that again, constitutes gameplay over visuals. GG IW.

To me, KZ2 was just missing that magic. It's like it followed a very successful formula, added amazing visuals to the mix, but misunderstood what made games like HL2 and MW so great. It wasn't graphics.

Jeez, Killzone 2 is such a polarizing game, you have those that love it and those that don't.

they invest more time into showing bullshots of their games to justify their purchase than anything else.

How odd. I thought in the pics you posted, Killzone 2 looked better (and Uncharted 2 was just randomly thrown in? Either way it destroys both FPS). The online Killzone 2 image is blurry. Looks like it was taken with a digicam off screen.

Most significant differences in Killzone 2's favor:

- GROUND TEXTURES

- LIGHTING

- Smoke/debris effects

- Gun models

Do some people really think THIS has been topped?!

I just can't even believe this is being discussed when people were talking about how KZ2 looked BETTER than Crysis in some ways upon release. The video tedster posted really shows how Killzone 2's lighting is in a class of it's own, in fact it's absurd when people say MW2 has better art direction when the lighting of Killzone 2 is such a huge part of the art direction.
