The OP lists it as being positive-only, and only mods would be able to grant positive rep.

I admit, the positive only ones are better but I promise you will still have two things:

  1. People begging me for props
  2. People complaining they don't get enough props
  3. People saying VGC is biased because x console gets more props than y console threads

I've never seen one where only the mods can give positive props, but I've seen quite a few positive only ones and people still complain.

1. Ban them
2. Ban them
3. Ban them

The way I see it this system's first few weeks would be hilarious

1.You can ban people for asking for rep. Or simply say no, its like them asking to be a mod.

 

2.Again ban them if they complain, only mods decide who gets it.

 

3. The threads them selfs wont be getting rep, but users, who provide helpful responses, not "My console is better than your console because *gives 2 reasons* rep plz" its more of a "Help my console is acting weird,whats wrong?" and a person replies in that thread "Oh the cables are unplugged in the back,therefore you get static" That type of person should get +1 rep.

 

And there wont be any Negative rep, so its always positive.
