I have all three and it really does depend on personal preferance. Overall it's uncharted 2 for me. The colors and diverse environments put it over the top.

I haven't played any of them lol.

Killzone 2 is a technical marvel , the graphics, the effects, the AI , the animations, the ragdolls ....ect

Uncharted and MGS4 are also technical marvels in their own way , but i choose Killzone 2, whover made it deserves all the praise, it really feels like "Next Gen"

However, someone said U2 has the better textures? Go back and pop in Killzone 2 buddy, the textures are phenomenal. Even up close, the textures look great.

I've watched lots of trailers of gameplay.

but for this competition i am gonna pick Killzone 2 as the top dog.
I like how the lightning effect make it look like a real gritty warzone.

Is this based on opinions or actual technical capabilities? Just curious.

Personally, putting aside any preference, I'd say the situation is:

Uncharted 2 then Killzone 2 after a small gap and then another small gap to MGS4 - looking at animation, character models, resolution, fps, on-screen activity, various stuff like particle effects, etc. and flexibility of each engine - different environments, foliage handling vs buildings, etc.

Personally I prefer Uncharted 2 for overall looks with Killzone 2 and MGS4 a draw for general looks and art direction - well, maybe a whisker of preference to KZ2 for the Helghast designs.
