I'm pretty certain NSMB should read (Wii, DS) for all of those catagories not just 14-17 teen girls. That would make a lot more sense.
And isn't CoD:MW2 rated M (17+)? What's the point of rating games if parents buy it for their kids regardless?
What is people's obsession with Guitar Hero and similar games? I always found them beyond boring.

You forget that one of the largest markets (if not the largest) for XBOX is kids between 14-17. Yes their parents have to provide the money, but if they weren't able to get the games simply because of the M rating, games like Halo, Fable and even GTA wouldn't be near the powerhouses in the industry they are today.

It would be bad for nintendo if the ds version outsells the wii version of new super mario brothers, with the wii just launching.
