Very odd thing happened today. She was the one who bought the game for me about two weeks ago or so. Today I had her play it, and she couldn't let it go. This is the first ever core game she has ever liked (the only other games she plays are LittleBigPlanet, Flower, and Super Puzzle Fighter).

Whenever there was any scripted event, like a pipe falling off while Drake is hanging on it, she jumps and screams like crazy. In the opening sequence alone, she screamed about a dozen times. After playing until the end of the museum heist, she said it was the best game she has ever seen, and the story was the best she has ever heard of. She said it was like an interactive National Treasure and Indiana Jones, her favorite movies.

Anyway, just wanted to share.. coz hopefully, this is her first step into becoming a core gamer :D

^ i mean to say she only ever plays games that don't require complex button pressing (LBP only has 2 buttons you really need to press, Flower you only press one). But besides that, I do consider those games as having a more casual element.

My fiancée normally hates shooting games, but she really enjoys watching me play Uncharted 2. She also likes inFamous because the premise is different, and Killzone 2 because of the artistic style, just about everything else she doesn't like (she's played inFamous quite a bit, but is too afraid to play U2 for some reason).

Nathan Drakes ass is the reason girls like Uncharted. I'm not kidding. They may not even realise it but it's the truth.

Uncharted 2 is too awesome.
